Roy Lee Lefevers Jr., 78, of Valdese, passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at his residence following a period of declining health.
Roy was born April 26, 1943 in Burke County to the late Roy Lee Lefevers Sr. and Bonnie Mitchem Lefevers. He was of the Baptist faith and loved the Lord. Roy loved racing and his visits to Fresenuis Kidney Care Burke County, where he made many friends and was always pampered by the nurses.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by daughter, Kimberly Evans; brothers, Ronnie Lefevers and Bob Lefevers; and sister, Donnie Stroupe.
He is survived by his wife of twenty years, Anita Smith Lefevers; son, Ronnie Lefevers and wife Donna; daughters, Karen Chapman, and Jackie Lowman and husband Kevin; step-daughters, Tracie Chapman and Leslie Michaels; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also surviving is brother, Bill Lefevers and wife Nancy; sister, Dianne Hamby; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Burke Memorial Park with Rev. Ronnie Lefevers officiating.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Burke Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family at Heritage Funeral Service 1507 Main St. E., Valdese, NC 28690.
