Our beloved Russ Kissick of Plano, Texas passed away peacefully on June 22, 2017. Born Russell Charles Kissick to Russell and Betty (Baumann) Kissick on January 25, 1941 in Cincinnati, Ohio, he attended the University of Cincinnati where he met his future wife of over 50 years Pamela (Gruber).

In addition to Pam, he is survived by son Craig Kissick of Dallas, Texas and brother Edward Kissick of Sarasota, Florida. After enjoying a successful career as a marketing executive and, as the result, traveling all over the world, he found his true passion in the form of the Interurban Railway Museum in Plano to which he was dedicated for so many years. He thoroughly enjoyed sharing the museum with children as well as adults and was committed to making it a fixture in downtown Plano. He was popular in the community and universally loved in the city he called home for some 35 years. He will be missed but not forgotten. In lieu sending any flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his name to any appropriate charity. An avid runner, Russ ran a good race and left a great legacy.

A Memorial Mass for Russ Kissick will be held on Friday June 30 at 10AM at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church at 6306 Kenwood Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75214. Phone number (214) 821-3360.

Arrangements under the direction of Sparkman-Crane Funeral Home, Dallas, TX.
