Sabato was born on June 5, 1924 and passed away on Friday, January 5, 2018.

Sabato was a resident of Rocky Hill, Connecticut at the time of passing.

Sabato proudly served in the Italian Army during WWII, during his service he was in a POW forced labor camp, thankfully released by the NAZI's, he then walked for 25 days to an American base, without shoes, finally making his way home.

Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield. Burial will immediately follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
