Samuel was born on March 31, 1931 and passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2019.

Samuel was a resident of New Jersey at the time of passing.

He attended the Paulsboro School System and was a 1948 graduate of Paulsboro High School.

He graduated in 1952 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree and was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Infantry andafter graduation he entered the military service.

Both viewing and funeral services for the Honorable Samuel G. DeSimone, A.J.S.C.-Retired will be held at St. Clair of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, (St. Michael's Church), 313 Memorial Avenue, Gibbstown, New Jersey 08027. Visitation on Monday, October 14, 2019 between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday, October 15, 2019 between 10:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. to be followed by a Mass for Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Celebrant: Fr. Following Mass there will be a Military Burial at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Paulsboro and Swedesboro Roads, Swedesboro, New Jersey.

In 1996 he was awarded the New Jersey State Bar Association Medal of Honor for his contributions to the Administration of Justice.
