Shad was born on March 12, 1985 and passed away on Friday, May 12, 2017.

Shad was a resident of Montana.

He attended St. Mary's Parochial School through fourth grade, then the East Side School for fifth grade, Sleeping Giant Middle School for sixth through eighth and graduated from Park High School the class of 2003.

On February 26, 2005 Shad enlisted in the United States Army and served his country during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He served two tours of duty in Iraq. During his first deployment he served as a metal worker, welder, driver and mechanic. During his time overseas he was injured losing his left thumb. After his first four years Shad reenlisted, this time in the Infantry in a designated imminent danger pay area. He served four more years. For his efforts serving he was awarded the Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Army Good Conduct Medal, Global War on Terrorism Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal with Campaign Star, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Parachutist Badge, Driver and Mechanic Badge and the Special Equipment Operator Clasp. On February 25th, 2013 Shad was honorably discharged from the Army and returned to Livingston.

A visitation and viewing will be held at the Franzen-Davis Funeral Home (118 North 3rd St., Livingston) on Friday, May 19th from 6-8 P.M.; the family will be present to receive condolences. A celebration of Shad's life will be on Saturday, May 20th, 2 P.M. at The Livingston Christian Center (1400 Mount Baldy Drive). Graveside service with Veterans Honors will follow the service.
