Shirley was born on June 24, 1935 and passed away on Monday, March 5, 2018.

Shirley was a resident of Perryton, Texas at the time of passing.

Mrs. Cooper graduated from McKinney Boyd High School in 1953 and was awarded the Balfour Award, the Most Outstanding Student.

They moved to Fort Eustis Base in Virginia where Don served in the Army.

There will be a private family burial at Ochiltree Cemetery, and a memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at First United Methodist Church in Perryton, officiated by Rev. Mark Metzger.

The family requests memorials be made to Ranger Academic Enrichment Foundation, P.O. Box 179, Perryton, Texas, 79070; First United Methodist Church, Perryton, P.O. Box 987, Perryton, Texas, 79070; or to one's favorite charity.
