Mrs. Payne was born on April 19, 1937 and passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2016.

Mrs. Payne was a resident of Burlington, North Carolina at the time of her passing.

Her funeral service will be held on Friday Oct. 14 2016 at 4:00pm at Ebenezer UCC 734 Apple St. Burlington NC with Rev. Dr. Larry E. Covington officiating. The visitation hour for Mrs. Payne will be held at the church from 3:00-4:00pm with the family arriving at 3:15pm. Mrs. Payne's interment will be on Saturday Oct. 22 2016 at St. Lukes Cemetery Bond Avenue in Reisterstown MD at 11:00am next to her husband. The public viewing will be held on Thursday Oct. 13 2016 from 1:00pm-8:00pm at Alamance Funeral Service.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in memory of Shirley Payne to the American Cancer Society the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or any other charity of your choice.
