Shirley Mae Treme, age 86, passed away in Houston, Texas on Friday, May 12, 2017. Born December 18, 1930 in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Gustave and Marie Louise Treme, she is preceded in death by her brother, Gus Treme. Shirley is survived by her sister, Lena A. Roberts and husband William R. Roberts of Houston, Texas and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, Louisiana 70124. A brief viewing will begin at 9:30 a.m. until service time. Interment to follow in Metairie Cemetery.
