Sigmund was born on August 7, 1929 and passed away on Friday, January 5, 2018.

Sigmund was a resident of Louisiana at the time of passing.

He was a graduate of the University of Texas, where one of his proudest accomplishments was playing on UT's 1949 and 1950 National Championship baseball teams.

He was a veteran of the United States Army.

A visitation celebrating Wag's life will be held at Osborn Funeral Home, 3631 Southern Avenue, Shreveport, LA on Monday, January 8th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. A reception will follow in the Church's parlor, and interment will be held at Forest Park Cemetery immediately after.

Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, or a charity of your choosing.
