Silas R. "SR" Fuller, age 83, of Louisville, passed away on August 22, 2016. He served in the Army and the Air Force. He was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church. He was a 32nd degree Mason and member of the Scottish Rite and belonged to the Burlington Masonic Lodge in Knoxville. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He loved his family, and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a very talented musician and played many instruments. He loved bluegrass music. He is preceded in death by his parents, Horton and Muriel Fuller; son, Johnny M. Fuller; and sister, Lola Smith. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Buleah Fuller; daughter-in-law, Jayne Fuller; grandchildren, Jesse Fuller, and Jelica and husband Adam Duggan; great-grandchildren, Mason and Benjamin Duggan; sister and brother-in-law, Sherry and Ken Wilhoit; brother-in-law, Paul Smith; and two nieces and one nephew. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 26, 2016 from 12:00-2:00pm in the mausoleum chapel of Sherwood Chapel and Memorial Gardens, with a funeral service to follow at 2:00pm, with Rev. Kenny Armstrong officiating. The graveside service will follow the funeral service at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
