Solomon Alexander Buchanan was a gifted person in the arts and intellectually. He had a great sense of humor and a deep love and understanding of animals. He loved his children and his face lit up every time he talked about them. He had a gentle heart and was really quick to forgive and reconcile. He was admired in many ways. He had a great laugh, smile, and child like wonder and amazement about the world. He is loved deeply by family and friends. Solomon knew and loved God. Solomon is survived by his mother Lisa Lautzenheiser, Father James Buchanan, Brother James Buchanan Jr., Sister Elizabeth Ohneck, Brother Joshua Buchanan, Sister Katherine Lautzenheiser, Brother Andrew Lautzenheiser, Daughter Alexis Buchanan, Daughter M'leigh Buchanan, Son Solomon Buchanan, Son Michael Buchanan, and Daughter Amethyst Buchanan.

The calling for Solomon is Thursday from 5-8 pm and the Funeral for Solomon will be at 9:00 am Friday. Both services are at CM Sloan & Sons at 1327 N Wells St. Fort Wayne, IN 46808. Following funeral the burial will be held at Concordia Gardens Cemetery followed by a luncheon hosted at Heartland Church at 1025 Vance Ave., Fort Wayne, IN 46805.
