Sonya Ann Unseld, 66, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017.

She was a member of First Virginia Ave Missionary Baptist Church, and a retried Principal with JCPS.

Mrs. Unseld was preceded in death by her father Herman Ramsey, mother Evelyn Ramsey and sons, Tony Leeshaun Johnson and Christopher Boyd Johnson.

She is survived by her sister Robin Qualls (James); daughter in law, LaKeta Johnson; grandchildren, Rayshawn, Tony, and Anthony Smith, Tony Johnson, Justin Lindsey, Anthony Slaughter, Isiah White and YaNia Johnson, host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation: 11am-1pm Tuesday at her church, 3601 Virginia Ave, with the funeral service to follow at 1pm, burial in Green Meadows.
