Spencer was born on December 17, 1937 and passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2017.

Spencer was a resident of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania at the time of passing.

Spencer graduated from Cumberland Valley High School in 1955 where he was the first student to receive a diploma in the school's history.

He then moved on to serve in the Army.
