Stanley was born on April 1, 1933 and passed away on Monday, November 21, 2016.

Stanley was a resident of Newark, Delaware at the time of passing.

He was a 1951 graduate of H. Fletcher Brown Vocational High School before going on to earn a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Delaware.

He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy he served his country with honor and valor during the Korean War having been stationed at the naval base at Guantanamo Bay and the French Morocco.

Stanley was married to Dolores.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Hedwigs Church 408 S. Harrison St in Wilmington 19805 on Thursday morning December 1st at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Cathedral Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the CHARLES P. ARCARO FUNERAL HOME 2309 Lancaster Ave. in Wilmington on Wednesday evening November 30 from 5-8 p.m. and again the following morning from 9:30-10:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Purplestride Delaware with hope and inspiration to raise funds and awareness for pancreatic cancer.
