Stanley was born on April 18, 1927 and passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2017.

Stanley was a resident of Washington at the time of passing.

He attended Stadium High School where he was a standout athlete, and the College of Puget Sound, where he was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity.

He served in the US Navy during World War II and the Korean War.
