Steven F Clark

Steve was born on December 3, 1941 in Newark, NJ and died unexpectedly
on June 20, 2015 in Tucson, AZ. Known to be kindhearted, he always made
sure the people he was in contact with had something to smile about
after talking to him. He truly believed in the good in people and only
had positive thoughts of everyone he met. He shared this positive spirit
with future generations as a middle school teacher in Jacksonville,
Florida for 32 years. Former students and fellow teachers all agree that
he had a special gift and was passionate about teaching. Steve was also
an avid animal enthusiast. He had no doubt that all his pets would be
with him in heaven and people often commented on how they wish they were
one of his dogs.

Son of Edward F and Annabelle May (Keir) Clark he will be forever loved
and missed by all who knew him, especially his much-loved church family.
He leaves behind his four beloved dogs Smiley, Dolly, Dorothy and Lexy.
His beloved partner of 34 amazing years, Kevin Perry, sister Nancy
Retherford (Bob), brothers Barry Clark (Maria) and Donnie Clark (Becky)
and a host of loving nieces, nephews and extended family.

Services were held at St. John's Episcopal Church on June 29, 2015 at
4pm with graveside services in Chandler, AZ July 2, 2015. In lieu of
flowers, please adopt an animal someday, or donate to a shelter if
possible or make a donation in Steve's name to St. John's Episcopal Raise the Roof project.
