Steven Taylor Wyatt of Mesa, AZ passed away July 23, 2017 at the age of 54. He was born January 10, 1963 in Cortez, CO to Frank Verell and Sharyn Jean [Stroming] Wyatt Jr. he was the youngest of three, moving to Moab, Utah with his family at a very young age. Growing up in Moab, he attended Moab High School and was a member of the rodeo team. He graduated in 1981. Steve was a heavy equipment mechanic, working 30 years for the cement company Cemex. He had a wild imagination, was hilarious, loved to tell stories and loved Batman. Steve had a love for animals and was known to adopt random dogs, his favorites being the small lap dogs. He loved the outdoors, fishing and camping, was an avid sports fan and enjoyed following the Cardinals, watching drag racing and NASCAR, and professional golf. He was an amazing bowler, which he shared with his dad, even scoring a perfect 300 game when he was younger. Steve was preceded in death by his father, Verell Wyatt Jr. and is survived by his mother, Sharyn Wyatt; his beloved wife of 5 ½ years, Kim [Dewey] Wyatt, the two were married November 12, 2011; his step children, Rachel Almquist and Zackery Almquist; brother, David (Ann) Wyatt; sister, Theresa Wyatt; one grandchild on the way - he was so looking forward to being a grandfather; as well as many nieces and nephews. Steve was greatly loved by his family and will be missed dearly by all who knew him. Service will be held in Moab Utah. Arrangements entrusted to Mariposa Gardens (480) 830-4422
