"Bless the Lord, O my soul and all that is within me, bless His Holy name." A faithful wife, loving mother, compassionate grandmother, caring sister, and giving aunty. Su'esolo "Su'e" Afasene Siofele was born in Vatia, Amerika Samoa on October 30, 1952 to the late Fa'amoemoe Afasene Tali and Utuitua Uelese Lauti-Tali. She passed away peacefully on New Years Day, January 1, 2018, in the comfort of her home with her loving aiga (family). Su'e graduated from Samoan High School and received an AA from American Samoan Community College. She married and is survived by the love of her life, Pastor Joseph Papu Siofele, and their beautiful children; Setema (Tiki) Siofele-Sagapolutele; Monalisa (Langi) Siofele-Lolohea; Joseph (Tuala) Siofele; and John Fa'aolataga Siofele; her hanai daughters~Tara Utu Anna Yasuda, Tabitha Su'e Taimane Yasuda, Malia Maeva Uta, Leilani Olive Karapani, and many more.

She's a loving grandma to Jonah Ioane, John-Keawe, Jaron-Keawe, Jenai-Keawe, Mathyas-John (MJ), Baby Su'e, and soon-to-be Baby Siofele.

A most faithful sister to Levaivanu (Misipati) Karapani, Ta'etasi Ta'ase, Uta/Leula Peniamina (Jacinta) Afasene, Faresa (Madeleine) Tali, Lavania (Iakopo) Ioane, Fuarosa (Alvin) Yasuda, Anna Uta, and Misipati Leama.

A prayer warrior and gracious leader to Aiea UMC and the Pacific Islanders United Methodist Community. Her grace, beauty, and faith are incomparable.

Join us in a Celebration of Life Worship Service on Sunday, January 21 at Aiea United Methodist Church;12 pm (Viewing), 2 pm (Worship). A celebration reception will be held on the lanai following the service. Private inurnment to follow.
