Susan T. Adkins Hoyle, 63, of Hickory passed away Monday, October 10, 2021 at Frye Hospital, following a period of declining health.
Susan was born September 1, 1958, to the late Charles W. Adkins and Betty Fortner Adkins.
In addition to her parents, she is proceeded in her death by her brother Rev. Charles Terrance Adkins. Susan loved riding motorcycles, working in her garden, taking cruises and going to the beach.
Survivors include her daughter, Sarah Lail and husband Kyle; grandchildren Abigail Steele, Brayden Lail, and Leighton Lail; partner Bernard Armer; sister-in-law, Junine Childers Adkins; and nephews Jeremy Adkins and wife Kim Mise Adkins; and John Daniel and wife Amanda. Also surviving is her aunt, Grace Robinson and husband Maurice; and best friend Linda Bailey.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Catawba Memorial Park with Rev. Marvin Wiley officiating.
