Sylvia (nee Ruffino) Fariello, 90, of Clifton, passed away on Nov. 27, 2016. Born in Passaic, Mrs. Fariello was a lifelong resident of Clifton. She devoted her life to her family. Sylvia enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her loved ones, especially her grandchildren. Her passion was cooking and baking. She was also known to knit and crochet in her free time. Mrs. Fariello was predeceased by her beloved husband of 66 years, James Fariello in 2015; her brother, Joseph Ruffino and her sister, Jessie DiDonna. Survivors include: her two devoted daughters, Mary Jean Cetinich and her husband Michael of Clifton and Johanna Ricca and her husband David of Clifton; six grandchildren, Christina D'Amore and her husband Carl, Justine Cetinich, Michael James Cetinich and his wife Alex, Dana Ricca, David James Ricca and Daniel Ricca; and one great-grandchild, Chase James D'Amore. Funeral services will be held Thursday 9:15 am from the Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Ave., Clifton and 10:00 am at St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church, 797 Valley Rd., Clifton. Interment to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Montclair. Visiting will be held Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
