In Loving Memory

TERESA FAYE CARTER

September 3, 1969 – November 28, 2017

On November 28, 2017, Teresa Faye Carter, age 48, at home, surrounded by her family and friends peacefully entered Heaven’s Gates. Teresa was born in West Palm Beach, Florida the 2nd child of Anthony and Sherry Manfredo. She is survived by her loving Husband of 29 years, William Carter, her six beautiful children Brittany, Ryan, Adam, Grace, Bobby, Toni and eight foster children. A sister Tona Krul (Allan) of Jupiter, FL. A Mother-in-law and Father-in-law Elaine and Bill Carter of Abbeville, AL., Her Brother-in-laws Joe Carter (Jean), Joel Carter, and Sister-in-laws Marlene Carter and Beverly Carter, 14 Nephews and Nieces and many dear relatives and friends.

Teresa was a loving and caring wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She loved her husband and children more than life itself. She was without a doubt the greatest “Mom” in the whole world. She had six children of her own and was a loving mother to eight additional foster children. Those close to her, knew she tried to help everyone she could, even if she did not know them very well. Teresa loved to spend time boating with her family on Tim’s Ford Lake in Winchester, TN. She loved to bake and at Christmas time her tradition was to bake and decorate sugar cut-out cookies with her children. She also loved to attend her children’s school and sporting events. For three years while living in Florida, Teresa worked as a certified teacher at Jupiter Farms Christian Preschool and was loved and admired by her students and fellow teachers. She was a faithful member of The Cove Church in Huntsville, AL. where she ministered as a Sunday school teacher. Teresa was one of the kindest people you could ever meet. She opened her heart and home to family, friends and many children over the years and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Proverbs 3:15, She was more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her.

In lieu of flowers at the family’s request, a bench and stepping stone in remembrance of her will be dedicated to the Clearview Cancer Center Garden of Hope located within the Huntsville Botanical Gardens. Memorial donations can be made to Bill Carter and Family at 111 Old Orchard Drive, Huntsville, AL. 35811.
