Tobey, Terrence Robert " Terry " age 75 of Beavercreek, passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2017. He was preceded in death by 2 sons, Robert Tobey in 1975 and Nicholas Tobey in 2015. He is survived by his wife Diane (Bauer) Tobey. Son Chris (Cameron) Tobey of Beavercreek. Daughter Alexandra Tobey (Derek) Miller of Kettering. Brother Timothy (Zena) Tobey of Cleveland and Michael Mounts. Also survived by 7 grandchildren: Ellie, Samantha, Riley, Robert, Jaxon, Jack and Mitchell, also numerous friends and family. After graduating from Ohio University, Terry started his career with Chrysler Corporation in 1964. In 1976 he founded Key Chrysler in Xenia and still was there working everyday he was in town. He was a member of many charitable boards and a proud supporter of Wright State University. He was a car and sports enthusiast especially the Cincinnati Bengals where he was a season ticket holder for over 35 years. He also enjoyed tennis and golf where he belonged to Country Club of the North and the Kiawah Island Club where in his last round he shot a 78, (Ha Ha Bo!). He loved his 2 dogs Charlie and Murphy. The Tobey family wishes to express their gratitude for the outstanding care Terry received at Kettering Hospital on the MSICU floor. Visitation will be held Monday July 31st from 3 to 8 pm at the Tobias Funeral Home, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road in Beavercreek. Funeral Service 10 am Tuesday, August 1st at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 901 East Stroop Road in Kettering. Pastors Jamie Vannoy and Terry Morgan officiating. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
