Thelma was born on August 17, 1927 and passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2019.

Thelma was a resident of Virginia at the time of passing.

After graduating High School in Greene County, Thelma lived and worked in Washington D.C. where she met and later married George Taylor.

Thelma was a member of Mount Vernon Church in Stanardsville, where family will celebrate and receive friends from 5:00-7:30 P.M. Friday, September 27, 2019. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Mount Vernon United Methodist Church, 76 Garth Road Stanardsville, VA 22973 with Rev. Samuel R. Plymale officiating. Inurnment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens.
