Theran was born on May 23, 1924 and passed away on Friday, June 2, 2017.

Theran was a resident of Utah at the time of passing.

He attended school in Parowan Utah until the age of 14 when he moved to Cedar City Utah to work full time for his brother in law Chester Parry at Parry Sand and Gravel.

Theran joined the army during World War II and landed on Utah Beach 9 days after "D" day.

He is survived by his brother Larry Heap, his sister Jean Eastman, his children Bobbi Joan Resendiz, St George, Utah, Judy (Ernie) Ulibarri, Woodland Park Colorado, Theran W. (Jill) Heap, Cedar City, Utah, 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday June 10, at 11:00 am at the Cedar City, Utah 4th Ward Chapel 500 West 400 North Cedar City, Utah. A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 before the service at the Church.
