Theresa Garcia passed suddenly from this earth on August 8th, 2017 at the early age of 70. She was born in Modesto, CA to Raul & Catalina Garcia. She was the middle of their five children. Theresa was witness to some great adventures in life. She enjoyed many cross country journeys accompanying her parents to her dad's annual military reunions with the 84th infantry division. She loved watching her parents bowl weekly-of which became a large part of her social activity. She had a fondness of playing the CA lottery scratchers which led her to their television game show, where she was able to receive yet another great win. She also had a love for baseball and religiously followed she and her dad's favorite team, the SF Giants.

Theresa had the gift to strike up a conversation with nearly everyone therefore, she had countless family and friends who surrounded her throughout her life; some of whom she met during her time at Haig Berbarian and Major Sysco. Theresa's love and warmth will be greatly missed she is predeceased by her father Raul Garcia Sr. and niece Rebecca Garcia. She is survived by her mother, Catalina "Katie" Garcia; Siblings, Raul Garcia Jr of Modesto, Raymond (Irene) Garcia of Madera, Ruth (Ed) Ross of Ceres and David Garcia of Modesto; Nephews, Michael(Kate) Garcia of Boston, Mass. and Edward Ross of Modesto; Nieces: Raquel Garcia of Seattle, Wa, Leta (Scott) Fusi of Modesto, Maria (Adam) Baltzer of Ceres, Lena Garcia of San Francisco, and several great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by many close cousins, uncles and aunts. Theresa's great heart and smile will be cherished forever in our hearts. Please join the Garcia family in remembering Theresa's life at the following venue and times: Lakewood Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 900 Santa Fe Ave, Hughson, CA 95326, visitation will be held Tuesday, August 15, 2017 from 4-6pm, Rosary to follow from 6-8pm. Funeral Service Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 10am and reception immediately following.
