Theresa K. Stonaker, 89, of Hamilton, formerly of Hightstown, passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Robert Wood Johnson Compassionate Care in Hamilton. Born in Trenton, Mrs. Stonaker was a lifelong area resident. She was employed as a bookkeeper with McGraw Hill for many years. Guided by her faith and generous with compassion, Mrs. Stonaker was a caregiver to many family members and friends throughout the years. Predeceased by her husband, Lewis E. Stonaker; Sr.; her sisters, Kay Nolan and Mary Stoj; her brothers-in-law, Horace Stonaker and wife, Dot and Alvin Lee and her sister-in-law, Dee Stonaker; she is survived by her son, Lewis E. Stonaker, Jr.; her daughter, Deborah L. Stonaker; her brother-in-law, Jack Fisher and wife, Carol; her sister-in-law, Connie Lee, her brother-in-law, Willard Stonaker as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will begin on Monday, May 22, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at the A.S. Cole Funeral Home, 22 North Main Street, Cranbury, NJ. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Hightstown. Visitation for friends and family will be held on Sunday, May 21, 2017 from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the A.S. Cole Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mrs. Stonaker's memory to the Special Olympics by visiting In Memory Of at www.inmemoryof-memorial.org.
