Thomas was born on October 18, 1931 and passed away on Monday, September 11, 2017.

Thomas was a resident of Danbury, Connecticut at the time of passing.

He attended Danbury schools.

The Divine Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 15, 2017 at 10 a.m. in St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, Danbury with Fr. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury. The Panachida prayer service will be offered on Thursday evening at 6 p.m. in the funeral home.

The family will receive friends in the Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home, 9-11 Granville Ave., Danbury on Thursday, September 14, 2017 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Contributions in Mr. Tita's memory may be made to St. Nicholas Church, 13 Pembroke Rd., Danbury 06811, Regional Hospice and Palliative Care of Western CT, 30 Milestone Rd., Danbury 06810 or to Michael J. Fox Foundation, Grand Central Station, P.O. Box 4777, New York, NY 10163.
