Thomas was born on April 19, 1937 and passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2018.

Thomas was a resident of Clover, South Carolina at the time of passing.

He enjoyed golf, travel, painting and spending time with his family He is survived by daughters, Katherine (Eric) Hinson of Clover and Georganna (Hobie) Walker of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL; a sister, Dot Wrenn of Greenwood; brothers, Wayne McDonald of Hilton Head and Bob McDonald of Charlotte; grandchildren, Kate Hinson and Thomas (Bryanne) Hinson, Mac Walker and Sarah Walker and a great-grandson, Thomas Hinson, Jr. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, February 15, 2018, at Rosemont Cemetery in Newberry, South Carolina. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, February 16, 2018, at River Hills Community Church in Lake Wyle, South Carolina conducted by the Rev. Gayle Montgomery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice Care & Community Care, 2272 India Hook Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
