Thomas Alan Brents was born August 11, 1946 in Hugo, Oklahoma and had lived in Valliant since 1972. Tom married Beverly Meadows on December 20, 1969 in Sawyer, OK. He served in the US Army as a combat medic during the Vietnam War and was a proud veteran. He was a member of the KIB and the Masonic Lodge of Wright City, OK. Tom loved spending time with his family and friends and never missed family camp for over 20 years. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, cooking, playing the guitar, hunting and always looked for a good debate.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents Jerry Ochoa and Frances (Hendrix) Ochoa and a sister, Carolyn Billingsely.

Survivors include: his wife, Beverly (Meadows) Brents of the home; daughters: Jessica Brents of Valliant, OK, Angela Brents of Newalla, OK and Veronica Brents of Newalla, OK; brother and sisters: Bob Kerr of Boswell, OK, Marjorie (Ellen) Eastwood of Boswell, OK, Teresa Burns of Boswell, OK, Claudia Riley of Clarksville, TN Felicia McAnany of Pottsboro TX and; a grandchild, D.J. Stuart and a great grandchild, Avery Stuart; numerous nieces/nephews, cousins and a host of other family and friends.
