Thomas was born on October 13, 1951 and passed away on Friday, June 9, 2017.

Thomas was a resident of Hamden, Connecticut at the time of passing.

Born Oct.13, 1951 in Derby a son of the late Thomas W. and Anna Rapuano Fanning Sr. he was a graduate of East Haven High School and served in the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.

Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rita Church, Hamden at 11:00. Burial with military honors will follow in East Lawn Cemetery, East Haven. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 5 - 8 pm.
