"It pains me to admit it, but apparently, I have passed away. Everyone told me it would happen one day. Again, I didn't get things my way."
~ Tony

Tony Ray Brown was born April 24, 1979 in Dallas, TX to Pearley Brown and Judy Crosby. He went home to the Lord June 27, 2017. Tony was a Bible scholar who lived and walked in Faith every day. Though he was taken from us so suddenly, we know that he is safe in the arms of Jesus, and that we will be reunited in Heaven one day.

After graduating from Garland High School, Tony went on to his career as a truck driver for the Swiff-Train Company. Tony loved music, movies, playing basketball, and spending time with his friends and family. Most of all, he will be remembered for his sense of humor. He loved to tell jokes and make people laugh, and he could always put a smile on your face.

Tony has joined in Heaven his mother, Judy Crosby. He has left to cherish his memory his three sons, Tory Ray Brown, Trent Ray Brown, and Tyren Ray Brown; father, Pearley Brown; three sisters, Angeline Dickson and husband Patrick Dickson, Pamela Brown and husband Tracy Freeman, and Debra Banks and husband Myron Banks; nieces, Camille Dickson, Patricia Dickson, Tysha Brown, Trina Jones, Tia Jones, and Tina Jones; as well as many beloved extended family members and dear friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 7, 2017 from 4:00 to 8:00pm, and A Service to Celebrate the Life of Tony Ray Brown will be held Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 11:30am, all at Grove Hill Funeral Home. Tony will be laid to rest at Lincoln Cemetery, Dallas, TX.
