Eusibio "Tim" "Siby" Espinosa of Fort Collins died on February 28, 2011 at the McKee Medical Center Hospice Unit. He was born on August 14, 1945 in Lompoc, CA, to Teofilo and Ann (Trujillo) Espinosa. He graduated from Lompoc Senior High School and attended Allen Hancock College. In Lompoc, he worked for Grefco for 22 years as a millman. He lived in Lompoc until 1989 when he moved to Fort Collins. On November 18, 1989, he married Cecilia Valdez in Fort Collins. He retired from CSU as a materials handler. Tim was a member of the American Legion in Lompoc and Fort Collins. He enjoyed coaching Babe Ruth baseball with his son, Tim. He loved the outdoors, scuba diving, deep sea fishing, and deer hunting. He collected marbles and loved to use his metal detector to find all sorts of treasures. He enjoyed his Friday Afternoon Club spent with friends and family. He was preceded in death by his parents and a step-son, Kevin Tovar. He is survived by his wife Cecilia; children, Kim Espinosa, Tim Espinosa, James (Tina) Carter, and Christopher Carter; a brother, Tommy Espinosa; sisters, Dorothy Herrera, Cecilia (Tim) Ballenger, and Patsy Ireland; grandchildren, Madison, Connor, Alexandra, Brandon, Cassandra, and James; godchildren, Anthony Ballenger and Troy Espinosa; and numerous nieces and nephews. Recitation of the Rosary will be held 9:30 a.m. Thursday, March 3, 2011, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, followed by Mass of Christian Burial. Interment Resthaven Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Epilepsy Foundation in care of Resthaven Funeral Home, 8426 S Hwy 287, Fort Collins, CO 80525.
