Bart loved his family and was especially happy when spending time with his grandchildren on the beach or on one of their numerous “adventures”. He loved to duck hunt, especially with the boys and their fathers in Arkansas, and he enjoyed spending time at Puccino’s and Perks with Linda and their friends. Bart fought the good fight against cancer for seven years. Throughout his illness, his faith and good spirits were an inspiration to all. The doctors, nurses, technicians, and staff of East Jefferson Hospital were wonderful during his illness. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at St. Philip Neri Church at 6500 Kawanee Ave., Metairie, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 7, 2017.
