Tully C. Shaw of Bloomington, IN died on August 2, 2016. He was born in Crawfordsville, Indiana, on October 13, 1928 the son of Noble R. Shaw and Mary Virginia Crabbs Shaw. He graduated from Crawfordsville High School and Wabash College and did graduate work at Butler University and Indiana University.

A Korean War veteran, he supervised re-building Korean primary schools following the end of hostilities. He taught at Howe High School and worked in sales and as Field Editor of English Linguistics for Ginn and Company, Textbook Publishers.

Tully owned and managed Bloomington Cyclery and was a member of the Bloomington Housing Authority Board. He served as a volunteer counselor for the Service Corps of Retired Executives. He was a member of St. Marks United Methodist Church and the Bloomington Exchange Club.

Tully is survived by his wife of 62 years, Trudy, his son David and wife Alesia of Denton, Texas, daughter Susan Watson and husband Trent of Glendale, Arizona, and daughter, Sarah Morgan and husband John of Charlottesville, Virginia, and four granddaughters, Stephanie Watson, Elaine Watson, Jacqueline Morgan, and Kate Morgan.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers; Noble Ryan Shaw II and Wallace Allen Shaw.

Visitation will be at St. Mark's United Methodist Church on Saturday, August 6, 2016 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will follow at 4:00 p.m. at St. Mark's United Methodist Church, 100 North State Road 46 Bypass in Bloomington.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be given to St. Mark's UMC, 100 North State Road 46 Bypass, Bloomington, IN 47408 or to Hoosier Hills Food Bank, 2333 North Industrial Drive, Bloomington, IN 47402.
