CHAPIN – Velma Ruth Keller Mole, 79, after fighting a courageous battle went home to be with her Lord and Savior on July 11, 2017.



Celebration of life services will be held 12:30 pm Friday, July 14, 2017 at Salem United Methodist Church in Ballentine with burial to follow at Green Lawn Memorial Gardens in Walterboro, SC . The family will receive friends from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm at the church prior to the service.



Velma was born January 1, 1938 in Charleston, SC, to John Henry and Frieda Phillips Keller. After she retired from the banking industry she volunteered at Sharing God’s Love for over 10 years. She will be remembered for the way she loved and cared for her family.



In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Travis (H.T.) Mole. Survivors include her daughters, Debra Mole of Chapin, Dian Davis of Bluffton, Sandra Dye of Chapin; her caring sons, Howard Dye and John Davis; grandchildren, Zach Davis, Kaitlin Davis, Danyelle Barnes (Robert), Chip Dye; a brother, John Keller (Betty); brother-in-law, Gale Mole (Sandra), sister-in-law, Joyce Martin; and several nieces and nephews.



The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Steven Madden, Paula Cox and staff of Lexington Oncology for their compassion and care.



In lieu of flowers memorial contributions made in Velma’s honor may be made to, Sharing God’s Love, 147 Friarsgate Blvd, Irmo, SC 29063.
