Vernon was born on June 3, 1930 and passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2017.

Vernon was a resident of Greensboro, Pennsylvania at the time of passing.

He served with the U. S. Army in Korea and worked for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation for over 30 years as a truck driver, equipment operator and lastly retiring are a foreman in the early 1990's.

Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. on Sunday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 8:00 P. M. on Sunday in the funeral home with Mr. Clarence "Rusty" Haney officiating. The graveside committal will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, September 18, 2017 at Greene County Memorial Park with military honors accorded by the Carmichaels Honor Guard and the U. S. Army.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations for funeral expenses.
