Victor was born on September 4, 1918 and passed away on Friday, January 5, 2018.

Victor was a resident of Ludlow, Massachusetts at the time of passing.

Born in Ludlow, son of the late Attilio and Amelia (Albonetti) Petrolati, he was a lifelong resident and 1936 graduate of Ludlow High School and a former President of his Class.

Victor was a proud United States Army Veteran of World War II and a member of the "Greatest Generation." He was commissioned in the Corps of Engineers where he served in the 2nd Engineer Amphibian Brigade and was deployed to the Pacific Theatre; in Australia, New Guinea, the Philippines and Japan.

Funeral services for Victor will be held on Saturday, January 13th at 11:00am from Ludlow Funeral Home with Liturgy of Christian Burial at 12:00pm in St. Elizabeth Parish followed by burial with military honors in Island Pond Cemetery.

Visiting hours are on Friday from 5:00-7:00pm and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Victor's memory to the Miami Project to Cure Paralysis (themiamiproject.org).
