Victor Rahanoff 92, of Keene, NH, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at the Keene Center Genesis, Court Street, Keene.

Victor was born in Vitebsk, Belarus on May 10, 1924, the son of Ivan and Paraska (Zabolotkowa) Rahanoff.

Victor and his wife, Stanislawa came to the United States in 1950. The couple resided briefly in New York and then in Newark, New Jersey before settling in Irvington, NJ where Victor worked for many years as a machinist with Worthington Pump Manufacturing of Harrison, NJ.

Victor enjoyed working with his hands, creating many works of art out of wood and metal. He also was an avid reader. He liked sitting outside with his wife watching the people walk by.

He and his wife moved to Keene in 1989.

He will be greatly missed by his daughter, Toni Mann and her husband, David, of Keene; three grandchildren, J. Wesley Mann and his wife, Sara, of Chesterfield, NH, Tyler D. Mann of Keene, Michael A. Mann of Keene; and a great-granddaughter, Kitiara Mann of Chesterfield. Victor was predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Stanislawa (Piotrowski) Rahanoff on March 6, 2004.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 1:30PM in the St. Vladimir's Russian Orthodox Christian Cemetery, 316 Cassville Road, Jackson, New Jersey. There are no public calling hours.
