(Theresa) Anne Vincent, 92, a lifelong Concord resident, passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at Havenwood. Born May 18, 1925, she was the daughter of J. Henry and Marie (Laramay) Vincent. Anne was one of five children, two brothers Jerome and Cyril and two sisters Virginia and Esther.

She is survived by eleven nieces and nephews - children of her brother Cyril and Jerome and her sister Virginia. 27 grand nieces and nephews; twelve great-grand nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her older brothers Cyril and Jerome and sisters Virginia and Esther.

She was a member of Concord High School Class of 1943. After graduation she was employed by the State of NH Planning and Development Department for 10 years. At the age of 29 she enrolled at Concord Hospital School of Nursing, graduating in 1956. She enjoyed attending annual reunions of the nursing school. Upon graduation she was employed by Concord Hospital briefly and by Dr. Webster Soule for 37 years as an office nurse until her retirement. She was known by generations of Concord families for her love of her job and patients.
She lived with her sister Esther at 13 Fellows St. for fifty years before moving to Havenwood recently.

First and foremost, Anne was an enthusiastic, loving daughter and sister, aunt, neighbor, coworker and volunteer. Her many activities touched the lives of many people and organizations throughout the city and beyond. She loved to travel with family and friends.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Concord and was active in many aspects of parish life. She volunteered with the Friendly Kitchen. She enjoyed gardening, reading, travel and family reunions. Her boxes of cookies sent to nieces and nephews at
Christmas time were legendary.

Anne's relatives are eternally grateful to William Norton who for years was Anne's neighbor.
In her final years, he was active in seeing to the care of Anne in all aspects of her life - spiritual, financial, healthy and wise counselor.

Visitation is 6 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday, at Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St. in Concord.
Funeral service is 10 a.m. Monday at Christ the King Catholic Church on Main Street.
