Love Emblem

Virginia Ann Howard entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 11, 2020 at seventy years of age. She will always be warmly remembered for her quick wit, strong will, generosity, and selfless sacrifices for her loved ones. Ginny never cowered away from defending the things in which she believed. She was truly a source of strength and a model of perseverance for all who were blessed to know her.

Virginia was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on May 28, 1950. She attended Norwood High School and The Cincinnati State Bethesda School of Nursing. Ginny worked at Bethesda Hospital for many years before retiring to care for her aging mother, Mary Ann and later her twin sister, Heidi.

Virginia loved steak dinners and Godiva chocolate. Her hobbies included gardening, knitting lovely blankets, canning delicious jams and pickles, and preserving family photos in video montages. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and pets.

She is survived by her children Shaun Patrick Clark, Anthony De'Andre Howard and Pia'Angela Naazir; grandchildren Alexandra Clark, Anthony De'Andre Howard Jr., Shaun Clark II, Tyler Howard Dunn; many great grandchildren; brothers Hans Mandt and Frank Mandt; nieces Johanna Mandt and Kristen Casto; and nephews Erik Mandt and Michael Howard.

Virginia was preceded in death by her twin sister Heidi Howard and her mother Mary Ann Clark.

Her life will be celebrated in a private memorial.
