Curtis, Virginia K. 93 of St. Petersburg died Wed. July 10th at Bayfront Hospital Hospice. Born Dec. 30th 1919 in Niles, Michigan she was the daughter of Herbert and Cleo Pletcher Forbes. Virginia retired from Simplicity Pattern Company in Niles Michigan She was a member of St. Giles Episcopal Church in Pinellas Park; and was a seven time past president and founding board member of Americana Cove in St. Petersburg. She married the late Manley Curtis in August of 1940; he died April of 1995. Virginia is survived by her sons Stephen (Peggy) Curtis of South Bend, IN and Mark D. Curtis of Niles, MI, daughters Mary (Lynn) Speck of Clearwater, FL, Nan E. (Ken) Olney of Wayland MI, Diane K (Tom) Filstrup of St. Petersburg Fl., Andrea G. (Rob) Wetmore of St. Petersburg, Fl., Lorraine A. (David) Casey of St. Petersburg, Fl., Elizabeth F. (Tim) Winquist of Niles, MI., sister Joan M. McMenamin of Port Richey, Fl., 22 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Virginia is predeceased by her son Edward M. Curtis and her daughter Margaret "Peggy" Litty.
