W. C. "Dub" Imler, age 87, of Trumann, passed from this life into the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ on Monday, January 8, 2018, at Ridgecrest Health and Rehabilitation in Jonesboro. Born and raised in the Osceola area, he was the fifth of nine sons of the late William and Campie Lee Anthony Imler and had been a lifelong Northeast Arkansas area resident. He worked as a carpenter, a mechanic for John Deere Equipment Company in Monette and retired from Arkla Gas in Paragould. He was a member of Faith Tabernacle in Trumann. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Ruby Eubanks Imler and his second wife, Ruth Burnette Imler, a son, Bobby Joe Imler, a daughter, Connie Sue Brandon, 1 granddaughter, Tonya Brandon and 8 brothers.

He is survived by:

Sharon Kay England (Darrell) of Batesville
Martha Rylant of Paragould

He also leaves 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Funeral Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with the Rev. Dub Holt officiating. Burial will follow in the Leachville Cemetery.
