He was an active parishioner of the Parish of the Holy Spirit, primarily at St. Bernard Parish, and prior to his retirement, served as a lector and Eucharistic Minister. He was also an active member of the Knights of Columbus Council 819 of St. Bernard Church during this time.

In 1992, following his retirement, he moved to Ponce Inlet, Florida where he was a parishioner of Epiphany Catholic Church in Port Orange, involving himself in many parish activities.

Warren was an honorary life member of the Gordon Bissell American Legion Keene Post #4. He involved himself extensively in the American Legion's youth baseball teams, at both a local and statewide level, prior to his retirement and moving to Florida.

He will be greatly missed by his two daughters, Toni Barrett of Keene and Carol Lepisto and her husband, Bruce, of Keene; and a grandson Douglas Lepisto and his wife, Elizabeth, of Gardner, MA. He is also survived by a step-son, Leo Polizoti and his family; and many nieces and nephews. His wife, Dorothy (Casillo) Barrett predeceased him in 2004 after 57 years of marriage. His two sisters, Avalon Class and Mary Stoggsdill, also died earlier.
