Of Parma, MI, passed away on June 16, 2017 at the age of 86. Born to William and Bessie (Cody) King on December 23 1930 in Fayetteville, W. Virginia. He moved to Jackson, MI from Fayetteville, W. Virginia in January 1955. Mr. King was preceded in death by Reva (Bailey) King, December, 1980 and Charlotte King in 2006, Son Tracy Lennon King, just five days earlier, June 11, 2017. Waskey is survived by his daughter, Lorie Ann (King) Jermeay of Jackson. Sister Juinita (Jack) Roark of Ravenwood, W. Virginia. Four grandchildren, Reva King, Renee' Jermeay, Brittney (King) Arik Booth, and Tracy William King. Eight great-grandchildren, Neli, Caleb, Karmin, Anthony, Braden, Mason, Landon, and Logan. Waskey's special friend and companion, Margaret Olney, good friends, Bob Quillet and Tom Williams. He worked construction for 35 years and was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving for 5 ½ years. Thirteen months of duty in Korea, and 18 months of duty in Germany. Waskey was a man of many words, both good and bad. Shocking to some and loved my many. A Celebration of Waskey's Life will be held at the Watson Funeral Chapel in Parma, MI. on Monday, June 19, 2017 at 11:00A.M. Chaplain Lisa Holdridge officiating; Interment Horton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Big 9 Sportsman Club, 12000 Folks Rd, Concord, MI 49237 or Great Lakes Caring Home Health and Hospice, 900 Cooper Street, Jackson, MI 49202.

The family will receive friends Sunday, June 18, 2017 from 1:00P.M.-5:00P.M. and on Monday, June 19 from 10:00A.M. until the time of service.
