Wayne Cohoe soared on the wings of God's angels into Heaven on May 20, 2017. He is lovingly remembered by his wife and soul mate, Darlene, adored grandson, Bobby Inscoe, loyal pet, Gracie and endlessly caring & steadfast friends.

Wayne leaves to cherish his memory two sisters, Cindy Spohn and Lora Ruffner.

Wayne was a precious husband, a loving Poppi, a nurturing, selfless, tenderhearted, kind and generous man beyond all measure. He loved, rescued and cared for all of God's creatures. Wayne was never too busy to love, listen, advise, and assist those in need. He had a quick wit and phenomenal sense of humor of epic proportions.

Wayne was a former software engineer with Alcatel-Lucent, an inventor, held various trademarks, an Army veteran, patriot and entrepreneur and longtime Carolina Hurricanes fan. He created one of the very first eCommerce shopping cart services, Americart. He was a deep thinker who displayed creativity in every aspect of his work and life. He ALWAYS put others before himself. The lives he touched on this earth are forever changed from the impact he had on them. He will be remembered every moment of every day by those who loved him with a love that was more than love. Wayne was one of a kind - a true original, the likes of which we will never see again.

Family will welcome visitors from 1-3 p.m. at Mitchell Funeral Home 7209 Glenwood Ave. Raleigh NC. A Celebration of Wayne's extraordinary life will be on Friday, May 26, 2017 at 3 p.m.
