Wende Renee White was born on February 21, 1967 in North Platte, Nebraska to Keith White and Deb Essex. She lived younger years in North Platte, and moved to Cozad, Nebraska in 1973, where she attended school through High School. She graduated from Cozad High School in 1985. She attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln for one year. She then lived in Lincoln, Nebraska for a few years, working and building friendships. She later relocated to Omaha, Nebraska and lived there for the remainder of her life. She worked as an office administrator at Orkin for the majority of those years. In February of 1994, she welcomed her daughter Brianne White. From that moment on, her life revolved around raising her daughter, while working to give her the best life that she could. Wende was loved by everyone she knew, and made friends easily. She loved God, her family, and her friends.
Wende passed away on November 8, 2016 at her home, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Her love of life never faded, and her contagious laughter could still be heard up until just days before she passed.
Wende is survived by her daughter Brianne White (Brandon Mitera) of Omaha, NE; her mother Deborah Essex of Cozad, NE; her father Keith White of Welfleet, NE; her brother Bill White (Deb) of Central City, NE; her brother Michael Essex (Megan) of Cozad, NE; nephews Timothy White of North Platte, NE; Andy White of Central City, NE; Aiden and Maddux Essex of Cozad, NE; nieces Maggie Newburn of Cozad, NE and Kelsey Newburn of Broken Bow, NE. She also has many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends, all whom she loved deeply.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Bonnie McNeal and Stan McNeal; her paternal grandparents June and Ralph White; her step-father Norman Essex; her step-mother Pat White; her great aunt Karole Bell; great aunt and uncle Mick and Janice Beza; great aunt and uncle Priscilla and Cleve Milroy; great aunt and uncle Ilene and Al Beza, Jr.
She will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
