Funeral services for Willene Yeates, 78, of Pioneer, LA were held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, Rayville, LA with Bro. Alan Palesano and Bro. Glenn Collins officiating. Interment followed in the McKnight Cemetery, Holly Ridge, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville.
Willene was born January 3, 1938 in Pioneer, LA and passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2016 in Monroe, LA.
Mrs. Willene is preceded in death by her husband, Cleo Yeates, Sr.; son, Cleo Yeates, Jr.; and parents, Daniel and Odell Johnston.
Survivors include her daughter, Kim Marble and husband, Jerry of Rayville; grandchildren, Robby Yeates and wife, Laura of Sterlington, Chad Yeates and wife, Jessica of Shreveport, Wendy Chisolm and husband, Rusty of Rayville, Trey Yeates and wife, Erica of Collinston, Jennifer Ghrigsby and boyfriend, Andrew Greenhagen of West Monroe, Nicole Pensis and husband, Ian of Jacksonville, NC, Jerry Wayne Marble, Jr. of Rayville, Anne Marie Clack and husband, Ryan of Rayville, and Tiffany Reeves and husband, Bobby of Lubbock, TX; great grandchildren, Ashley, Zack, Hailey, Seth, Emma-Jo, Lukas, Parker, Ella, Brendan, Weston, Alexa, Jace, and Finley; sisters, Mable Muirhead, Joandale Bolding and husband, Gerry, Hazel Oliver, and Jean Gatlin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Ryan Powell, Logan Nolan, Andrew Greenhagen, William Clark, Wayne Singley, Shannon Lowery, and Calvin Foster. Honorary pallbearers were her great grandsons.
