William was born on December 11, 1922 and passed away in June 2017.

William was a resident of Mexico, Missouri at the time of passing.

He was a graduate of Centralia High School in the class of 1941.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the European Theater as a member of the 37th Chemical Depot Co. On Aug. 5, 1945, in Mexico, he was married to Bettie Rose Towne, who survives at the home.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Sept. 14, at 11:00 a.m. at Pickering Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry Kukuk officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home with a Masonic service at 7:45 p.m. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge ' Hebron Lodge No. 354, Royal Arch Mason Mexico Chapter No. We would have been at the funeral and visitation, had we known in time.
