William was born on August 8, 1923 and passed away on Friday, November 11, 2016.

William was a resident of Morton Grove, Illinois at the time of his passing.

He received his bachelors degree in civil engineering in 1948 from the University of Illinois.

He was service in the Corps of Engineers in the Philippines during World War II.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 Saturday December 10 at the First Presbyterian Church of Wilmette with a reception to follow overlooking Lake Michigan.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations may be made memory to the Northeast Illinois Council Boy Scouts of America in support of Camp Crown in Trevor Wisconsin.
