William Edward "Bill" Poulter passed from this world peacefully on April 24, 2017, in Dallas TX. Son of William Edward Poulter and Myrtle Brannon Poulter, he took flight at a young age and never looked back - Pilot, Architect, Engineer, Entrepreneur and salesman extraordinaire who worked hard and played harder. He was the creator of Poulter Tools and even traveled to China to build a custom machine.
Bill enjoyed building businesses for both himself and other people he represented throughout his life. Sportsman in the classic sense, his children grew up surrounded by the great outdoors while hunting and fishing with him on weekends and holidays. He had many loves in his life including his children and grandchildren. He leaves behind the love of his life, June Smith of Throckmorton TX. She was important to him until the very end.
Survivors include a daughter, Earlene Newhart of Virginia Beach VA and children.
His son Billy Walker and wife Kathy and sons Christopher and Zachary live in Lufkin TX.
Son Brannon Poulter, deceased and wife Lori Lee have a daughter Allison with husband Craig and their children Lorelai Olivia and Henry Brannon who reside in Shreveport. Their son Kyle Poulter also lives in Shreveport.
William Edward (Billy Jr.) Poulter and wife Tiffany along with Billy's daughter Alexandra live in Coppell TX.
Preston Poulter and his wife Auby live in Venice Beach CA. Preston's daughter is Avery Poulter.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, April 30 at JJ's Café, 10233 E Northwest Hwy, Unit 434, Dallas TX 75238. Family and friends are invited to the celebration of life service for Bill at 3:30 in the afternoon,
The family extends a special thanks to Bill's neighbors Jane Harris and Margaret Haynes for being by his side to the very end. Friend Cynthia Alexander was there to make life easier to the end.
His dear friend Dr. Ernest Moore of Kaufman Tx was his trusted advisor and loving friend to the very end.
Dora Martinez was his office manager and friend. She has run Max Supply as Bill's health declined. Mere words cannot express how much she is appreciated and loved for her loyalty and dedication. His salesman Richard Kahrs of California was his friend for over 40 years and loyal advisor.
Thanks also to the employees of Max Supply Inc. - Erika Wong, Yuriko Ann Martinez, Gustavo Hernandez ( Tony) and Jovanny Martinez. From Floor World / Shreveport La his manager and friend Walter Rayson. Thanks to you all for your loyalty and dedication.
Bill was "larger than life" and will be missed by his friends and family, but will not be forgotten as his legacy will live on.
